A Spotlight on FAU’s Research Magazines

Wednesday, Mar 09, 2022

It’s exciting to know that, at any given time, there are a wealth of world-class research activities taking place across FAU’s six campuses. Recently, two annual publications featuring some of the University’s most extraordinary studies were released from the nationally ranked Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing and the Stiles-Nicholson Brain Institute.

The 2022 edition of Transforming Care, FAU’s nursing magazine, centers around the theme “Thriving Through Change,” which highlights the tremendous challenges and achievements in the college throughout the past year. From “Cracking the Code on COVID-19 Outcomes with Big Data” to newly funded faculty projects, the research taking place in the College of Nursing is at the forefront of clinical care.

Advancing FAU’s strategic pillar for neuroscience, the Brain Institute’s 2022 edition of Masterminds magazine features new and emerging issues in brain health, including an insightful exploration of virtual minds and artificial intelligence. The magazine also discusses important developments in areas such as Alzheimer’s disease, traumatic brain injuries and degenerative disc conditions.

For those interested in the health sciences, or to gain a better understanding of the critical research taking place at FAU, I highly recommend taking a closer look at the groundbreaking work presented in these publications.
