Merryl Reynolds
Merryl Reynolds is Vice President of Sales and New Business Development at Basic Fun! where she leads growth strategy, channel expansion, and omni-channel sales across global consumer markets and platforms. She has over two decades of senior leadership experience in the consumer products and toy industries, with deep expertise in brand development, manufacturing, and building strategic partnerships.
Prior to joining Basic Fun! Ms. Reynolds served as Senior Vice President of Sales at JAKKS Pacific for more than 15 years, overseeing national sales, marketing, and distribution. She oversaw JAKKS CARES, the philanthropic arm of the company that supported charitable programs for children nationwide. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles in new business development and co-founded a cause-related marketing firm focused on environmental education and nonprofit partnerships.
Equally central to her perspective is her lived experience as the parent of a 31-year-old son with disabilities who has achieved significant personal and professional success. Through this role, Ms. Reynolds has gained first-hand insight into the importance of early opportunity, skill development, employer openness, and sustained support systems that enable individuals with disabilities to thrive in competitive, integrated environments.
Ms. Reynolds brings to the Access TECH Stakeholder Advisory Body a rare and valuable combination of employer-side leadership and family-centered lived experience. Her contributions help ground workforce strategy in real-world outcomes, ensuring programs align with both business needs and the long-term success of individuals with disabilities.
Ms. Reynolds resides in Florida and is a passionate supporter of helping young adults realize their fullest potential.
