Jack Miller Forum for Civics Education
Advisory Committee

The Jack Miller Forum for Civics Education is housed in the F.A.U. Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts & Letters.  An Advisory Committee, appointed by the Dean of the College of Arts & Letters, is principally responsible for the Forum’s activities and financial stability.

Jeffrey S. Morton is the Director of the Jack Miller Forum for Civics Education.  Dr. Morton holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of South Carolina and has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in the Political Science department since 1994.  The author of three books and numerous journal articles, Jeffrey Morton holds the rank of Professor.

Kevin M. Wagner is the Associate Director of the Jack Miller Forum at Florida Atlantic University.  Dr. Wagner holds a Ph.D. in Political Science and a J.D. from the University of Florida and teaches in the fields of American Politics and Political Behavior.  The author of work on both national and state politics and the evolving role of the internet in national campaigns, Dr. Wagner is an Assistant Professor at FAU.

Kristin Shockley completed her doctoral course work at Emory University in History with an area of expertise is early modern and modern European history. Professor Shockley teaches a range of courses that focus on American democratic principles, American political development, the Founding, immigration, and religion and American politics.
