Dr.prof.hab. Palina Prysmakova is an Associate Professor of the School of public administration, Florida Atlantic University, and a Visiting Professor of the Faculty of Economics, University of Warsaw. She has been a member of International Research Society for Public Management, Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action, American Society for Public Administration and l'Association Internationale de Recherche en Management Public.
Palina has been a core professor of the Master's of nonprofit management program at FAU teaching from fundraising to accounting to board management. Together with her students, she is actively engaged in community education, where they consulted over 60 nonprofit organizations and associations on financial and fundraising topics.
Her empirical research is published in the leading administrative journals and covers various topics like transparency, and performance, and human resource topics like public service motivation.
She is known for her hands-on community activities and volunteering. Sharing her expertise on financial management, she has an honor to serve on the financial committee of the Rada of Belarusian Democratic Republic, which is the oldest government in exile, and also on board of many associations, including Kresheuski Foundation, NY, and Association of Belarusian Business Abroad, Poland.
