    1. Submit official test scores. An SAT or ACT is required of all applicants (including the writing section). To have SAT scores sent to Florida Atlantic University contact College Board at www.collegeboard.com or at (866) 630-9305. FAU's SAT school code number is 5229. 2. Submit official high school transcripts. Prospective students must submit the most recent,  official transcripts from any/all high schools (secondary school) in which the student enrolled prior to graduation. Once graduation has taken place, a new copy of the official transcript will need to be submitted to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions to confirm the receipt of the high school diploma. If you completed all or part of your education abroad, a translation and evaluation of work completed at each institution will be necessary. Transcripts should be sent to one of the NACES accredited evaluation services for course-by-course evaluation and overall GPA. Please see a list of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) Members.
    3. Submit senior year course schedule.
    4. Submit official college/university transcipt(s) if applicable.
Please submit all post-secondary school transcripts for each institution attended. This includes any dual enrollment credits you earned while still in high school.
    5. Students who are pursuing admission as either a first time in college student or a transfer, but for whom they have completed a GED must submit the transcripts from the institution where the GED was completed. This submission should include all the required exam scores as well. Persons with a GED must achieve a minimum total score of 3000, with no sub score lower than 550, and present a test score of at least 1450 on the SAT or 21 on the ACT.

Results of the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) may be required of students whose first language is not English. Current FAU admission requirements are a score of 550 on the paper-based test (Toefl PBT), or 80 on the internet-based version (Toefl IBT). Also, we accept IELTS instead of Toefl with the minimum score of 6.5. Information about IELTS can be obtained from http://www.ielts.org. FAU now offers TOEFL through our testing center located on the Boca Raton campus. You can find more information about it on our web site at www.fau.edu/testing/TOEFL.php.
