Meet the University Ombudsman

Dr. Angella Wint currently serves as the University Ombudsman at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). Prior to her appointment as Ombudsman, she worked as a Paralegal in the University’s Office of the General Counsel, bringing more than 25 years of experience across a wide range of legal practice areas.

Dr. Wint is a Certified Organizational Ombudsman Practitioner® (CO-OP®) and an active member of the International Ombudsman Association (IOA), where she serves on both the Research & Assessment Committee and the Research Mentor Committee. She is also a Certified Florida Supreme Court Circuit Civil Mediator, further strengthening her expertise in conflict resolution and informal dispute management.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Master of Public Administration from Nova Southeastern University, as well as a Master of Science and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Research Methodology from Florida Atlantic University.
