Submitting College Transcripts

Submitting Transcripts

All incoming students to Florida Atlantic must submit official transcripts to complete the admissions process. As a transfer student, you must submit official transcripts from ALL previously attended higher education institutions. Transcript data will be incorporated into the student record in the order received, typically within two to four weeks of receipt.

For example, if you attended a four-year university (such as Florida, Florida State, UCF, etc) and a state/junior college (such as Palm Beach State College, Broward College, Valencia College, etc), you would need to request official transcripts from both institutions.

If you are transferring to Florida Atlantic with less than 60 credit hours, you are required to submit official high school transcripts as well.

International students who are transferring in with foreign post-secondary coursework must have their records evaluated and submitted by a NACES accredited evaluation agency

How do I submit my transcript?

Great question! All institutions are different, so we encourage you to contact your college or university’s registrar’s or student services office to determine how they send official transcripts. Most institutions will have the official transcript request process available to students online.

There are two ways to submit your official transcripts:

Electronically (preferred)

1

  • FASTER (preferred method for ALL Florida public higher education institutions)
  • Naviance/SCOIR (Typically used by high schools)
  • SMART/Joint Service Transcript (military records)
  • Parchment
  • National Student Clearinghouse

Please note, if the transcript delivery service asks you to provide an email address to send transcripts to, please use admissions@fau.edu

Hard copy – U.S. Postal Service

2

Transcripts sent directly from your high school and/or college in a sealed envelope (if the seal is broken, we cannot accept the transcript as official). If a hard copy is submitted, additional time for evaluation will be required. Official transcripts should be mailed to the following address:
