If you are planning to enroll in a prep course, you should have a basic foundation of at least high school algebra and geometry. If you haven’t taken any mathematics courses recently, you should plan to do so before enrolling in a prep course. FAU TEST PREP GUARANTEEYou can repeat a test preparation course to further elevate your test scores for an administrative fee of $99 within one year of the last course attended. If you are a returning student, and would like to repeat a course, simply call our office - 561.297.1260 for instructions.
If your course requires you to purchase a text, you can do so at the FAU Boca Raton bookstore. Textbooks should be purchased prior to the first class. Bring your book to every class! For bookstore hours, call 561.297.3720. Textbooks can also be ordered and purchased from Barnes and Nobles on Glades Road in Boca Raton. Barnes and Noble can be contacted by calling 561.750.2134.
PARKING
Please make sure to take care of parking arrangements before coming to class. You have two options.
1. You may purchase a parking decal online that will last for the duration of the course. This permit will allow you to park in blue parking lots only. Permits are assigned to a vehicle and a person, and are non-transferable. At the end of the registration, you will need to print the temporary permit. Please click on the button below if you choose to purchase a permit and follow the prompts.
2. Or, you may park at metered spaces (limited availability).
FAU TESTING CENTER
Boca Raton Campus
The testing center administers most of the tests that we prep for. Call 561.297.3160 or visit www.fau.edu/testing for more information on the test dates and procedures.
We ask that you register at least 72 hours before the start date of the course. You can register for any course online by selecting the course option that meets your schedule. FAU Test Prep accepts all major credit / debit cards. Test Prep is located in the Student Support Services Building (SU80) / Room 208D.
CANCELLATIONSPlease notify us by phone or fax at least 48 hours before the course begins if you must cancel a course. You will receive a full refund minus a $15 processing fee for each course. If less than 48 hours notice is given, you will be charged a $40 processing fee for each course. No cancellations will be accepted AFTER a course begins. If a course is cancelled by us for any reason, you will receive a full refund.
