While Florida SBDCs do not loan money or administer grants, our Capital Access Specialists maintain valuable relationships with local lenders, understand their lending requirements and can help you locate, prepare, and obtain financing - traditional bank loans, government-backed loans, or loans provided by alternative lenders.
Our Florida SBDC’s nationally recognized International Trade Services are designed to connect export-ready, new-to-market, new-to-export, businesses with International Trade Specialists who can personally deliver the tools, strategies, and expertise needed to help grow and succeed abroad.
This Procurement Technical Assistance Center is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Defense Logistics Agency. Our Government Contracting Specialists are available at no cost to Florida businesses, large or small, that possess the interest and potential to perform work — as a prime contractor or a subcontractor — for federal, state or local government agencies.

The Florida SBDC at Florida Atlantic University is a member of the Florida SBDC Network, a statewide partnership program nationally accredited by the Association of America’s SBDCs and funded in part by the U.S. Small Business Administration, Defense Logistics Agency, State of Florida, and other private and public partners, with the University of West Florida serving as the network's lead host institution. Florida SBDC services are extended to the public on a nondiscriminatory basis. Language assistance services are available for limited English proficient individuals.
