Transcript Instructions

Current Students

Current students may request their official transcript (or check the status of an order) by logging into MyFAU self service and then follow the prompts:

  1. Select Student Services Tab
  2. Select Student Records Tab
  3. Choose from:
    • Request Official Transcript
    • View Unofficial Transcript
    • Transcript Order Status

 

Alumni Students

Alumni and former students who do not a have a FAUNET ID must first activate it prior to requesting a transcript.  Click HERE to activate your FAUNET ID.

Upon retrieving the FAUNET ID (or if you already have a FAUNET ID), you may request an official transcript (or check the status of an order) by logging into FAU self service and follow the prompts:

  1. Select Student Services Tab
  2. Select Student Records Tab
  3. Choose from:
    • Request Official Transcript
    • View Unofficial Transcript
    • Transcript Order Status

 

Additional Information

If additional information needs to be attached to the transcript, please order the transcript via the on-line process and then scan and email the document(s) to transcripts@fau.edu. Please note that additional documentation should be sent immediately after submitting your online transcript order.

 

Delivery Methods and Fees:

  • The cost per transcript is $10.00. There is no additional fee for USPS standard delivery.

  • Overnight Delivery is $51.00 ($10.00 for the transcript and $41.00 UPS charge) Delivery is restricted to an address in the Continental US. UPS cannot deliver to a Post Office Box.
    Overnight delivery orders received after 4pm will be processed the following business day.

  • 2nd Day Delivery is $32.00 ($10.00 for the official transcript and $22.00 USPS charge) Delivery is restricted an address in the Continental US. 2nd Day delivery orders received after 2pm will be processed the following business day.

  • Campus Pick Up – Once your online transcript request has been processed for pickup at the requested campus, it will be available at the Registrar’s Office. Transcripts will be held for a maximum of 30 days from the date they were ordered. If not picked up, the requested transcript will be shredded.

  • Please Note: We are not able to waive fees for transcripts ordered/addressed incorrectly.
