Description of Department's Key Services

• Writes bid documents, selects and oversees contracted custodial services
• Performs classroom and special event set ups
• Oversees energy management system operations
• Performs minor maintenance including painting, light bulb replacement, air conditioning adjustments, plumbing repair, furniture repair, etc.
• Performs small moves within and between campuses
• Maintains Broward vehicles
• Writes bid documents and contract for major maintenance including landscape, elevator fire sprinklers, fire alarms, air conditioning, generators, etc.
• Institutes procedures to save energy including recycling
