Current Events Support Group
FAU CAPS recognizes that current events may cause significant psychological distress in our student body. We invite you to talk about your reactions in a safe and confidential space by attending our Current Events Drop-in Support Group. The group will be held every Monday at 5-5:50 p.m. at CAPS (Bldg 8, room 229) throughout the Spring semester. No appointment or reservation needed but please arrive promptly.

FAU Counseling and Psychological services stands with our students during this time of pain and suffering. We acknowledge the range of emotions which you may experiencing following the recent incidents of violence in Louisiana, Minnesota and Texas, as well as the less publicized, but no less important, incidents of violence in our communities. As we witness the aftermath of the tragedy in Orlando, it becomes particularly important to rely on our existing resources in order to work through our feelings and support our friends, families, and communities.
