Wilkes Honors College - The Wilkes Honors College (WHC) of FAU sets the standard for honors colleges nationwide. The WHC is a top-tier, residential, free-standing, liberal arts and sciences college with a four-year, all-honors curriculum and its own faculty. The faculty members are top scholars with degrees from prestigious universities, including Univ. of California, Berkeley, Brown University, George Mason Univ., Univ. of Oxford, Pennsylvania State Univ., Univ. North Carolina, Univ. of Sydney, and Vanderbilt Univ., and they love teaching undergraduates. WHC graduation rates are at the top of Florida's state university system,* with six-year and four-year rates at 82% and 70%, respectively (national public university averages are 58% and 33%).

University Honors Program - The University Honors Program at the Boca Raton Campus of Florida Atlantic University has been designed to provide students with exceptional and rewarding learning opportunities through special Honors Courses, the University Honors SLS 1501 - Introduction to Academic Life, Honors sections of Freshman courses and option of taking more advanced courses to substitute for first-year required courses. The advantages of the University Honors Program include small class size, close contact with many of the University's top ranked faculty, as well as special advising/registration.

Honors in the Major - Upper-division honors programs on the Boca Raton campus of Florida Atlantic University, also known as honors-in-the-major, have been steadily growing over the past few years, and we plan to offer more in the future. These programs, which have stringent entry requirements, offer honors coursework (or honors compacts) and culminate with a capstone requirement. We invite you to browse through these pages and follow the links to existing honors-in-the-major at Florida Atlantic University.
