Dr. Zachary Ferrara

Instructor of Economics

Zachary Ferrara

My background is in economic education, and my research focuses on the structure and level of equity within the subfield. My continuing goal is to help us better understand why economics is a less a diverse academic field relative to others, and develop practicable solutions to make it more accessible and supportive for students and faculty alike.

I teach a wide range of classes, including Intermediate Macro- and Microeconomics, Environmental Economics, and Industrial Organization and Game Theory, among others. I am primarily interested in introducing class materials and activities that encourage critical thinking and discussion about orthodox economic theory and approaches.
