FAU undergraduate student Ms. Mackenzie Mannarino, received the “Sharon D. Banks Memorial Undergraduate Scholarship Award” from South Florida Women’s in Transportation Seminar (WTS)

We are thrilled to announce that Ms. Mackenzie Mannarino, received the “Sharon D. Banks Memorial Undergraduate Scholarship Award” during the 2023 South Florida Women’s in Transportation Seminar (WTS) Annual Scholarship & Awards Dinner, which was held at Hilton Aventura Miami on Wednesday, June 28^th. Mackenzie delivered a recorded acceptance speech at the event. Dr. Jahandar Lashaki, Assistant Professor and Graduate Director, and Ms. Jasmine Hadi, Vice President of WTS FAU Student Chapter, represented the Department of CEGE at this event. Mackenzie obtained her BS degree in civil engineering from FAU in spring 2023, and currently works as a Civil Analyst at Kimley-Horn (Ocala, FL). Mackenzie will start her MS studies in civil engineering at FAU in fall 2023.
