It’s homecoming week here at FAU, the most spirited time of year. We will welcome home all alumni and honor the 2008 Motor City Bowl Championship football team on their 10th anniversary.
Student Government has planned a number of special activities to celebrate this year’s theme, “Atlantic Awakens,” including Visit ‘Hoth’ on the Housing Lawn, laser tag, Darth Owlsley photos, and more! Of course, we’ll also enjoy annual favorites including the ‘ExtravaCANza’ Canned Food Sculpture Contest, Day of Service, comedy show, Fall Family Fest, the Talon Awards, and the OwlFest concert featuring Catch 21Savage and Juicy J.
The highlight of the week is our football game against Western Kentucky on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 5 p.m. This past weekend, the Owls defeated local rival FIU 49-14 in the annual Shula Bowl.
