This past weekend, FAU hosted more than 3,200 students and family, including more than 1,100 potential Owls, at our third annual Expo. Local high school juniors and seniors with a GPA of at least 3.4 were invited to our Boca Raton campus to learn about all that FAU has to offer them. They received information from our 10 colleges and the many offices that provide services to students, and had an opportunity to hear from current Owls about their experiences at FAU. The Expo also included a special reception for those with a 4.0 GPA to highlight programs and services for high-achieving students. Additionally, 34 merit scholarships were awarded.

While FAU has admitted students from all 50 states and nearly 200 countries, we never lose sight of the fact that this university was established to serve the people of South Florida. We’re proud to continue this great tradition of showcasing FAU to our local high students and hope to see many of them return to FAU as part of the Classes of 2021 and 2022.
