Today kicks off Hispanic Heritage Month, a nationwide celebration of Hispanic and Latino achievements, heritage and culture. We take great pride in the fact that FAU is the 27th most diverse university in the country and a Hispanic-serving institution.
 
FAU will host a variety of Hispanic Heritage Month events through mid-October including movie nights, group discussions, dance lessons and more. I encourage everyone to take part in our festivities and celebrate the important presence and contributions of Hispanic Americans to our nation.
