March is Women’s History Month, the annual celebration of women’s contributions to American history, culture and society. FAU is honoring women all month long with a number of events taking place across our campuses, including speakers, movie events, discussions, and more. Women helped to build our nation and their efforts continue to further its success. This year is especially significant because it marks the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote. I hope everyone will take part in the Women’s History Month festivities and celebrate the many contributions of women to our nation and the world.
