Costs
Service Order Charge
- Charge per work order request: $20.00 *
* This charge applies to any and all telephone and cabling requests.
Rush Order Charge
- Charge per work order requesting expedited service: $50.00*
* Charge added to a request when the end user gives CI less than (5) business days notice to complete an order.
Installation, Upgrade, Downgrade, and/or Move
- Phone: $72.00 + cost of equipment if required
- Analog Line: $72.00
- Comcast cable TV - estimate will be provided for each request. Please open a ticket at http://helpdesk.fau.edu
Disconnect of Phone, Cellular/Smartphone, or Analog Line
- Disconnect: $15.00
Software Changes
- Software 1 - 5 changes: $15.00
- Additional changes in groups of 1 - 5: $15.00
Phone Mail/Call Processing
- Installation per phone: $35.00
- Software change to a Call Processing box: $15.00
- Disconnect: $15.00
Monthly Recurring Charges

Beginning with the July 2012 Telecommunications e-print bills, the following monthly costs are:
Desk Phone service each, all models $27.00/month.
Off-campus forwarding feature $5.00/month
Xpressions phonemail $6/month.
Analogs and second lines $19/month.
The cost of new phones will no longer be included in the monthly rates. New phones and replacement phones will be charged a purchase price for the phone.
Customized call processing and call distribution designs and requests will be priced according to required features.

Procedures
If you would like to request any of these services from Communication Infrastructure, please submit a ticket through the Online Helpdesk site with the following information:
Phone installation/move/software change
- Type of phone.
- Phonemail Y or N
- Class of service (i.e., local calling, long distance, International).
- Location - Campus, building and room number.
- Banner Account number.
- Forwarding (i.e., PhoneMail, to another extension, etc.).
- Caller ID Assigned name.
- Contact name and extension.
- Brief description of what is needed.
