Activate your FAUNet ID
A FAUNet ID is automatically assigned to you once you are officially admitted.
Faculty & Staff:
Your FAUNet ID is assigned within 5 business days after attending orientation.
Claim & Activate your Account
To claim your account visit MyFAU (http://myfau.fau.edu) and log in with your initial default password.
As of September 13, 2012, the initial default password for all new users is the three letters fau in lowercase followed by your date of birth in MMDDYY format (fauMMDDYY). If you became a student, employee, or faculty member before this date but never logged into MyFAU, your password could be just your date of birth in MMDDYY format.
Example: if your birth date is September 3rd, 1997, your initial password would be fau090397. If your account was created prior to September 13th, 2012 and you have never logged in, then your password could be just your date of birth 090397.
If you are on campus you may activate your account using a Self-Service Kiosk located in select computer labs.

You can lookup your FAUNet ID by using the lookup tool and providing your SSN or Z-number.
