General Classroom South - Room 212Q Upcoming Events! The Salango Project is a film by Garrett Astler documenting the Florida Atlantic University Anthropology field school in coastal Ecuador. Recorded over a period of six weeks, watch as an international group of students are trained in the field techniques of archeology and experience a life-changing journey along the way. It offers a taste of the region's culture while examining the effect of the study abroad experience on students, and provides evidence for the importance of such research programs.

MADRID: CAPITAL ON THE MOVE FILM SCREENING
During the summer of 2011, fourteen students from Florida Atlantic University studied abroad in Madrid, Spain. Watch as they give first-hand testament to their experience and how it transformed their lives living and learning in a different place soon to be called home. Created as a documentary film project for the FAU Madrid summer study-abroad course, Madrid: Capital on the Move explores the experience of studying abroad through Florida Atlantic University and the connections made by the students that took courses there.

Faculty Study Abroad Proposal (SAP) Information Sessions:
India 2010 Initiative to Strengthen International University Partnerships FAU has launched the India 2010 Initiative designed to canvas university-wide interest and capacity to promote academic partnerships with universities in India. FAU is one of ten universities and colleges in the U.S. selected to participate in this pilot project. Supported by the IIE International Academic Partnership Program, a university India Task Force has been named and will meet over the summer and fall 2010 to create an inventory of current activities and to identify goals for new ties to Indian institutions.
