Florida Atlantic University operates approximately 180 vending machines at various locations throughout FAU's campuses. Machine types include carbonated and non-carbonated beverages, milk, snacks, microwave meals and ice cream. Depending on the machine type and location, purchases can be initiated by coins, paper currency or an Owl Card.
FAU has an exclusive beverage pouring rights contract with Coca-Cola. Full-service pouring rights include non-alcoholic beverages and extend to food services, convenience stores, retail outlets, the FAU stadium, and other athletic venues and vending services. This holistic and exclusive partnership extends to all non-alcoholic beverages sold, served and offered through catering, product samplings, and all functions that occur on all FAU campuses.
To report a malfunctioning machine, visit or call the Owl Card Center at 561-297-2700. Refunds may be obtained Monday – Friday, from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Please report any issues immediately to prevent further inconvenience to users.
The Office of Business Services is responsible for the management of the vending contracts. Additionally, Business Services is responsible for managing both the product donation requests, as well as marketing requests received from University departments, clubs and organizations, and Athletics. Commissions received by FAU vending services are used to assist in the funding of university programs and activities.
