Kyle Webb Alvaro David Sopo Salazar is a dedicated third-year political science student with a passion for making a difference. Born in Florida and raised in Colombia, Alvaro brings a unique perspective to his studies. As the valedictorian and student body president of Nuevo Gimnasio Cristiano, Alvaro showcased his dedication to the community through initiatives like NGC Radio and the founding of the Ecological Club. His academic pursuits center on development initiatives in education and employment, both domestically and globally. Post-graduation, Alvaro envisions advancing his understanding of policy administration by applying to a graduate program in France, emphasizing language enrichment.With a focus on domestic policy and immigration communities, Alvaro is driven to become a state representative and effect positive change. His intelligence, leadership skills, and empathy make him an inspiring force for good in the world of politics

Savannah Marshall is a fourth-year student at Florida Atlantic University, studying towards a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.Savannah inherits a judicial legacy, as a direct descendant of Chief Justice John Marshall. Her early passion with his landmark cases ignited a fascination for Law and Politics that has flourished throughout her academic career.After graduation, Savannah plans to continue her professional education in business and law through a Juris Doctorate/ Master of Business Administration program, in pursuit of a career in government or international business. Her journey is not just one of personal achievement, but a continuation of a long legacy of meaningful impact on American Law.

Madison Jordan Kaplan is a third-year student at the Harriet Wilkes Honors College in Jupiter, Florida, pursuing a degree in Political Science (BS) and a minor in Law and Society. She has experience with government due to her studies and participation in Speech and Debate and Model United Nations. She also graduated high school with a pre-law distinction. Madison, additionally, has many earnings from her years in Congressional Debate and recently won 1st place at the National Model United Nations conference in Washington, D.C. In her studies, Madison focuses on learning the law and understanding the foundations of our government. Her interest in the government comes from her goal of becoming a representative of the people. Madison continues to work diligently to prepare herself for the future of this country. Upon the completion of her undergraduate studies, Madison intends to apply to law school to further her knowledge of the law and to become the best representative of the people that she can be.

Kathaleen Kelly is a fourth-year student at Florida Atlantic University’s Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College, where she is pursuing a degree in Law and Society (B.A.) and a minor in History. In her studies, Kathaleen focuses on the American legal system, United States’s foreign policy practices, and Russian History. In Spring 2023, she was selected as one of five Morton Fellows to research international relations issues for the Morton Research Forum. Her research mainly consisted of the separation of church and state in Switzerland and the Swiss ban on the construction of minarets in 2008.Kathaleen has interned at the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) in Arlington, Virginia. Her responsibilities included various tasks related to supporting the ALEC Action Staff in policy research and coordinating events at ALEC’s  2022 Annual Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia. She has also interned in Sarasota County’s Health and Human Services Department, where she evaluated the Community Offender Rehabilitative Treatment Program (CORT) for the Sarasota County Board of County Commissioners.Outside academics, Kathaleen has competed and won the National Model United Nations D.C. Conference for the past two years. She is also a proud founding member of the Delta Rho Chapter of Sigma Delta Tau.Upon completing her studies, she intends to apply to graduate school to further her knowledge of United States governmental practices and progress toward a career as a policy analyst.
