Texas native, Corey K. Lamb, is an artist and educator whose practices are steeped in a holistic approach towards painting as a window, object, action, and document. Conceptually, his artistic work is concerned with creating narrative spaces in which core, archetypal tropes are examined and reinvigorated through abstraction and aesthetic play. This particular mode of creating is also explored within the classroom, where students are trained under both historical and contemporary practices with an emphasis on developing their own idiosyncratic voice within their artwork to interact with and reflect the world they inhabit. Professionally, his work has been exhibited internationally and nationally through an ongoing array of gallery relationships across the United States and Denmark.
