FAU’s Theatre Lab Recognized for Outstanding Work

Theatre Lab, Florida Atlantic’s professional theatre company in the Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters, received the following honors for the  2022-23 season:

Silver Palm Awards:

• Outstanding Production, Refuge
• Outstanding Director, Matt Stabile, Red Riding Hood, Dorothy’s Dictionary, and Last Night in Inwood

The Silver Palm Awards will be presented on Monday, October 18 at the Addison Restaurant in Boca Raton.

Carbonell Award Nominations:

• Dorothy’s Dictionary,Outstanding New Work, Play or Musical, Theatre Lab
• Last Night In Inwood, Outstanding New Work, Play or Musical, Theatre Lab
• Patti Gardner, Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Female Supporting Role, Last Night In Inwood,  Theatre Lab
• Thomas Shorrock, Outstanding Lighting Design, Dorothy’s Dictionary, Theatre Lab
• Matt Corey, Outstanding Sound Design, Refuge, Theatre Lab

The winners will be announced at the annual Carbonell Awards Ceremony on Monday, November 13.
