Patricia Engel is an award winning author and Associate Professor in the Creative Writing Program at the University of Miami. Engel's newest publication is a collection of short stories, The Faraway World (Simon & Schuster, 2023).

She is also the author of Infinite Country—a New York Times bestseller and Washington Post notable book—which won a variety of awards including the New American Voices Award and a Florida Book Award. You can read more at the author's website, patriciaengel.com.
