The Instructional Computer Labs are available to all faculty and staff wishing to teach courses or hold seminars in computer-equipped facilities.
These labs are permanently equipped with different types of multimedia equipment. For example, they all have ceiling-mounted projectors and computers, Blu-Ray players, document cameras, among other features and/or capabilities.

Overall, there is only one instructional computer lab in the Fort Lauderdale campus, featuring a total of 25 PCs. Below is a description of the facility:

Faculty members who need to request additional software in a classroom or in a computer lab should submit a request via the FAU Helpdesk at least 30 days in advance. If the software is not licensed through OIT, the department or college may be required to provide software licenses.
