Eligibility

All FAU students who are enrolled in the current semester and paid the health fee are eligible for  Initial Appointment  related services. Students who are not enrolled in summer classes but were enrolled in the preceding spring semester and have registered for the upcoming fall semester are eligible for services if they pay the  elective health fee  through Student Health Services.  Students are eligible for ongoing clinical services if their issues/concerns fall within the scope of practice of the center. Students who are experiencing an urgent/crisis related situation are encouraged to use the  emergency services  of the center. Proof of current enrollment is required. All students must present a photo ID before receiving services.

Minor Status

If you are an eligible FAU student and less than 18 years of age, you must seek consent for treatment from your parent or legal guardian. As a minor, you are eligible for emergency/crisis related services at CAPS only and in a very limited way.
