Recreation and Fitness Center memberships are available to members of the community. FAU Faculty/Staff receive special discounted pricing on memberships, programs and services.
There are many benefits to becoming a member of the Recreation and Fitness Center, such as access to the following:
Campus Recreation facilities, services and programs are available to all FAU students during the semester for which they are registered. Facility access is granted 10 days before the first day of class each semester. Access continues until the day before classes begin the following semester. Students qualify for this access by paying the required activity and service fees as part of their tuition. Graduating student's access will stop as the last day of the semester.
Stop-Out Student Membership
FAU students taking a single semester off from their studies are welcome to purchase a Campus Recreation Membership. Stop-out Students may purchase a Campus Recreation Membership for no more than one semester after the most recent semester of enrollment; Stop-out passes are not sold for consecutive semesters. You must be registered for classes the semester following the semester you are taking off. (Example: took classes in the spring, not taking classes in the summer, but registered for classes in the fall). Alumni are not eligible for this membership.

You are able to fulfill your payments through one of the following methods: MasterCard, VISA, American Express or Discover.
Faculty/Staff who wish to purchase the annual membership are able to pay for that via payroll deduction. Deductions will come out of the first paycheck of every month for 12 deductions (12 month contract employees), 10 deductions (10 month contract employees) or 8 deductions (9 month contract employees).
Tax will be assessed to all membership prices at the time of purchase.
