The College of Social Work and Criminal Justice now leads the university with a 98.2% retention rate. This demonstrates that the overwhelming majority of our students are committed to continuing their academic pursuits without interruption in course registration or enrollment status.

Combined with the college’s 93% job placement rate for recent graduates, these historic retention outcomes “reinforce the culture of care that has been cultivated at our university in recent years," said Geoffrey Johnson, assistant vice president of academic operations.

“This is also historic for our college,” said Dean Naelys Luna, “and it’s only possible because of the collective work of our faculty and staff, driven by our commitment and dedication to serve our students.”
