Capture Your Research

Only One Week Left to Submit to the Art of Science Photography Contest

No matter where you conduct your research, or what you’re researching – capture it and submit it in the Division of Research’s second annual Art of Science photography contest.

Last year, almost 150 photographs were submitted to represent research, scholarship and creative activity across all FAU’s colleges. Your photographs will help expand and educate the community’s view on the unique research happening at FAU – in the field, in the lab and everywhere in between.

A panel of judges, with representatives from all colleges, will determine top prizes, and one winner will walk about with an iPad. In addition, top photographs are published in an upcoming issue of Owl Research and Innovation magazine, and the top undergraduate winner’s photograph will grace the cover of the Florida Atlantic Undergraduate Research Journal.

For almost 20 years, he was an assistant professor at East Carolina University and Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Tenn., where he held several positions including clinical veterinarian, associate director of the Division of Animal Care and director of the Office of Animal Welfare Assurance. Salleng also served as chief of the veterinary pathology in the department of comparative medicine at East Carolina University and as a staff veterinarian at private practices.

This opportunity is open to all members of the FAU community – students, faculty and staff. Deadline to submit is Oct. 15.

Now is the time to put your research into focus. Check out all the contest details and submit today at woobox.com/8nqc3m.
