Surgical Suites/ROOMS
- Service fee applies per case which equals one lab occupying space and/or using equipment independent of hours per day, each day a new case starts
- A case includes
- Setup and cleaning of room and equipment, verification of sanitation at appropriate intervals
- Regular PPE needed = disposable lab coat, non-sterile gloves, head cover, surgical mask, shoe covers (latter in BSL2 area)
- Surgical prep material (betadine or chlorhexidine, alcohol) and clipper
- Heating device (e.g. water circulating device or heated surgical table)
- Scale for weighing rodents
- Surgical microscope
- Hot bead sterilizer
- SomnoSuite for anesthesia
- Isoflurane vaporizer with oxygen as delivery agent (extra fees apply)
