FAU Hosts Events for 2024 Women’s History Month

Florida Atlantic University students will celebrate Women’s History Month with a number of events at its Boca Raton and Jupiter campuses.

Florida Atlantic University students will celebrate Women’s History Month with a number of events at its Boca Raton and Jupiter campuses. The events are open to the public, and may be added on a continual basis throughout the month of March.

The following events will take place virtually or at FAU’s Boca Raton campus, 777 Glades Road:

Join Sigma Iota Alpha to discuss women’s health, and how women can be proactive in taking care of themselves.

Cheer on the Women’s Lacrosse Club of FAU as they host Tampa.

FAU women’s club soccer matches up with Nova Southeastern.

Business and Professional Women’s Scholarship House is hosting its annual BPW Week to promote the scholarship house, culminating with a barbecue.

FAU Council of Student Organizations leads an event to assist young women-led organizations and young female students in marketing their small business.

“PampHer: A Celebration of Self-Care and Empowerment” is a rejuvenating on-campus event dedicated to self-care practices and empowering discussions aimed at nourishing the mind, body and spirit. This event will be put on by Multicultural Programming and GLAM: Student Activities and Involvement.

This workshop is hosted by Black Latina Movement and will discuss double standards, appropriation and reclamation of beauty standards.
