FAU Harbor Branch Research ProfessorDr. Shirley Pomponi was an invited panelist at the Florida Roundtable on Ocean Acidification at Mote Marine Laboratory in Sarasota. The workshop was organized by Mote and the Ocean Conservancy. The goal of the roundtable was to build a community of Florida scientists who are studying ocean acidification, who will evaluate the state of the science and communicate it to state and federal policymakers. Pomponi discussed ocean acidification priorities in the context of the recently issued National Academy of Sciences report on priorities for ocean science in the next decade. Click here for more info.
