A federal district court has issued a preliminary injunction blocking DHS from implementing its new rule eliminating Duration of Status (D/S) for F-1 and J-1 nonimmigrants, which was scheduled to take effect September 15. DHS is expected to appeal, however, in the meantime, The Center for Global Engagement will continue normal business processes and monitor further developments. |
