Scientific Diver
Scientific Diver Course Course to train FAU Employees for diving performed solely as a necessary part of scientific research, or educational activity by employees whose sole purpose for diving is to perform scientific research tasks.

Existing Open Water Certification, Scientific justification, FAU Employee Status, PI approval, satisfactory medical evaluation, ability to pass a swim test, and approval of the FAU Diving and Boating Safety Officer.

Boating Courses 
MOCC Course to train FAU Employees for all boating operations under the auspices of FAU.

Diving First Aid for The Professional Diver (DFA Pro)
DFA Pro A course to provide FAU Scientific Divers with the skills needed to effect a water rescue including  emergency oxygen for scuba diving injuries, how to perform a neurological assessment, first aid for hazardous marine life injuries, basic life support and the use of an AED. Fill Station Training
Fill Station Training  Course to provide FAU divers (DIT and scientific divers) with skills needed to safely operate the fill stations on FAU campuses. This course also meets the requirements of OSHA and DOT for transport of compressed gas cylinders.
