Office of Undergraduate Research and Inquiry (OURI)
OURI offers a wide variety of services and funding opportunities to support both student and faculty in the pursuit of undergraduate (UG) research. This office offers a number of programs such as UG research grants, professional development workshops, UG research journal, etc. Please use the links below to explore and gain more information about each of the programs that OURI offers.
For Students who are:
- Seeking to fund their research through out the year are welcomed to apply to the Undergraduate Research Grant Program. These are in the form of individual grants (up to $500) and group grants (up to $1000). Deadline is October 15, 2016
- Seeking to fund their research for Summer 2017. The Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) application is open and the deadline is Jan. 16, 2017
- Interested in gaining knowledge in research and inquiry as well as develop more professional skills can attend one of the many workshops offered by OURI.
- Interested in publishing their research. OURI hosts an annual peer-review journal that all students participating in undergraduate or scholarly activities can submit their work (including cover art). For more information about requirements and deadline, please follow the link.
