Team FAU - Boca Raton Campus
Thanks to the generosity of the FAU family, we have exceeded all goals for the 2007 Heart Walk:
• Raised $23,500 (goal was $20,000)
• Recruited 335 registered walkers (goal was 200)
• Recruited 32 team captains (goal was 20)
Two FAU team captains were among the top five overall fundraisers for the South Palm Beach County Heartwalk — Wendy Stephens in the Charles E. Schmidt College of Science (Heart Steppers) and Sherry Rosenstein in Academic Affairs (Sherry’s Academic Hearts). In addition, FAU's corporate team was the largest ever in the history of the Heart Walk in South Palm Beach County. Additionally, the Jupiter campus sent 90 walkers to the West Palm Beach event and raised $5,373 while the Treasure Coast raised $510 for the Stuart event.
