Dear Colleagues,

As chair of the FAU Provost Search Advisory Committee, I would like to update you on the search process and to invite you to meet the short-listed candidates.

First, an update:

From a diverse and inclusive group of highly qualified prospects, three outstanding candidates have been invited for on-campus engagement next week:

  • Bret Danilowicz, Ph.D., M.B.A., Professor of Integrative Biology and Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Oklahoma State University
  • Sacha Kopp, Ph.D., Professor of Physics and Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at State University of New York at Stony Brook
  • Laura Steinberg, Ph.D., Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Special Assistant for Strategy to the Vice Chancellor for Innovative and Strategic Initiatives, and past Dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Science at Syracuse University

The candidates CVs are available on the right side of this web page.

Second, an invitation:

During their upcoming visits, each candidate will hold an interactive Town Hall session that is open to all faculty, staff and students.
