The Research Park at Florida Atlantic University® today announced that MPLT Healthcare has relocated its corporate headquarters to join the Research Park at FAU as its newest tenant.
MPLT Healthcare specializes in placing highly qualified physicians and advanced practice providers in locum, locum-to-perm and direct hire positions, thus serving highly skilled clinicians and a wide variety of client facilities around the country.
MPLT Healthcare has been recognized numerous times for excellence, including the recent honor of being named sixth on the South Florida Business Journal’s Best Places to Work list. Other recent accolades include ClearlyRated’s 2020 Best of Staffing® Client and Talent Awards, and Modern Healthcare’s 2019 Best Places to Work in Healthcare.
“Our partnership with FAU will enrich our mission and help us expand the services we provide to the local community and beyond,” said Jay Mays, chief executive officer of MPLT Healthcare. “We look forward to having an even greater impact on the South Florida region, especially with the area’s increasing focus on growth in the health care sector. We are very pleased to partner with FAU to address and support this growth and we are eager to continue offering the excellent quality services for providers and health care facilities for which we are known.”
FAU’s College of Engineering & Computer Science faculty will work with the professionals at MPLT Healthcare on projects such as developing industry leading technologies that can match physicians, advanced practice clinicians and other health care providers with facilities faster and make these transactions smoother. It will also develop a formal internship program for undergraduate and graduate students, with areas of focus in sales, research, project management, marketing, recruitment and information technology.
“MPLT Healthcare is a welcome addition to the Research Park at FAU,” Andrew Duffell, president of the Research Park at FAU. “It offers real-world employment and applied research opportunities for both the faculty and students at FAU in an increasingly important and complex industry.”
