The magnetic strip on your Owl Cards can become worn, damaged, or demagnetized. The first thing you should do if your Owl Card has stopped working is to verify with your department that your access has not been changed.
If you are certain that your access has not been changed you should:
- Go to the Owl Card Center and ask that your card be "remagnetized".
- If remagnetizing your card does not resolve the issue, we recommend getting a new Owl Card.
