Public Address Today
To attend today's event, you must have a ticket — some 2,000 students, faculty and staff received tickets through lottery drawings and contests. Tickets were also available for purchase by the general public. For those attending the event, security officers will be conducting physical searches of all guests entering the arena, so be sure to arrive early. In addition to the prohibited items listed with notification emails and ticket information, purses, backpacks and all bags are prohibited.

Simulcast Available to FAU Students Faculty and Staff
The public address will be simulcast from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the Carole and Barry Kaye Performing Arts Auditorium in the Student Union on the Boca Raton campus. The simulcast is open to FAU students, faculty and staff only. You must have a valid Owl Card to be allowed into the event. The doors to the auditorium will be open from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Seating will be general admission on first-come, first-served basis. No one will be admitted after 9:30 a.m. It is anticipated that the auditorium will fill quickly to capacity, so be sure to get there early. If the auditorium fills before 9:30 a.m., the doors will be closed and people will be turned away. As a reminder, no food or drink is allowed in the auditorium

Heavy Traffic Expected Today
Due to the Dalai Lama’s public address at the FAU Arena, traffic on the Boca Raton campus — and specifically on the west side of the campus — is expected to be heavy all day. Please plan ahead to avoid congestion and delays.
