Also: toxic materials, unclean utensils/equipment, coughs, sneezes, unnecessary handling, sewage and overhead leakage, and other contamination

Food Protection Devices

Overhead protection should be provided at all food service events where food is prepared or proportioned on premises.  Mesh screens may be necessary to prevent flying insects or vermin from entering food area.

Protection devices such as sneeze guard or cover should be used as a barrier between people and food area.
