International Friends Program
Mission
The mission of the International Friends Program (IFP) is to support new international students in transition to university life at Florida Atlantic and facilitate connections between students from different backgrounds.
About IFP
Starting a new life in a new country and adjusting to a different environment can be challenging. IFP aims to assist international students during their transition by pairing them with a current student, whether an international or domestic student. Peer friends provide valuable support and guidance, addressing questions and concerns that arise upon arrival in the U.S. and during their first semester. Participation in the program helps students access resources, enhance leadership, stay involved on campus, and build lasting friendships worldwide.
