All FAU constituents, (i.e., students, student organizations, faculty, colleges, departments, partner campuses, administrative staff and departments, as well as the Office of Information Technology) may apply for revenues generated from the Technology Fee through the Proposal Review process which includes a comprehensive review by the Technology Fee Oversight Committee of each submission.

Project Oversight

Colleges or administrative units with sufficient technological resources may be the primary project administrator for a proposal. For those proposals requiring oversight and management by OIT, service level agreements (SLAs) will be established to properly estimate the resources and efforts required by OIT.

Fee Collection Monitoring and Reporting/Reserves

The Associate Vice President for Finance and University Budget Director will monitor the use and availability of the funds generated by the Student Technology Fee.

A small reserve will be retained in the collected fees each year to address the need for contingency funds.
