John Renne, Ph.D., joins host Michael Williams to discuss changes needed for our coastal communities as they rebuild following the destruction caused by Hurricane Ian.

Associate professor in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, Diana Mitsova, Ph.D. , was appointed the John DeGrove Eminent Scholar Chair in Growth Management and Development.

Funding will be utilized on a project with FAU’s Center for Urban and Environmental Solutions that uses immersive technology to engage the North End community, schools, and decision-makers on the topic of sea-level rise to ultimately develop an action plan to mitigate sea-level rise impacts.
