Applying for SAS Scholarships

Applications for scholarships are available in March for the following academic year. These applications are available from Student Accessibility Services and will also be available early March on our website, at www.fau.edu/sas

Required Materials

Most scholarships are based on financial need; therefore, a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) needs to be completed each year. Typically the deadline for all scholarships through Student Accessibility Services (SAS) is May 15th for awards for the following academic year.

Unofficial transcripts are acceptable for all scholarships except for the Johnson Scholarship which requires an official transcript. Documentation of disability must be submitted unless it is already on file with the SAS. Two letters of recommendation, attesting to the student’s academic potential are required as part of the SAS application packet. The Johnson Scholarship application requires three letters of recommendation.
