This photograph captures the initial learning experience with a third grade class that involved a demonstration of a solar system map and coding the Dash robot. (Researchers) visited The Foundations School in West Palm Beach, Fla., to implement STEAM lessons with third grade students. This mixed methods research project was in collaboration with (researchers from the) Center for Creative Education and a doctoral research assistant that focused on the knowledge, identity and attitudes of at-risk third grade students before and after STEAM lessons.
