This research studied the hydrodynamics of stingrays. Specifically, we aimed to investigate the interaction of the stingray body with the sea floor and the center of the water column. One way to observe this relationship is through flow visualization. As shown in this video, a fluorescent dye glows under ultraviolet light, indicating the water flow around the stingray model.
